Why buy direct from the farm?

Know your farmer

By purchasing meat directly from us you bypass the multinational corporations who control so much of the meat in todays food chain.

To us, meat is not a commodity. It’s an animal that we’ve reared from birth to slaughter and hand delivered directly to the end consumer.

We can tell you every single detail about these animals and pass to you a guarantee that they’ve lived a healthy life in line with how nature intended. we encourage you to ask questions about how we manage our farm, we believe it’s your right to know this.

Can your super market do this?

Food miles

Meat isn’t a manufactured product, it was a living breathing animal that grazed, pecked or rummaged somewhere on our planet. Quite often the meat that you set on your table had to travel over 5000 miles to get there.

The same animals are in fields on the outskirts of your town, in your village or even on your road! Don’t you think that’s mind blowing?

Our mission is to give you the opportunity to buy your meat on your doorstep and slash these food miles.

Enhancing your local economy

During the process of getting our meat from birth to butcher and ultimately to your door, we support a vast array of local businesses from the hardware store, vets, agriculture contractors, abattoir, printers, refrigeration management and many more in between.

These are all small businesses just like ours who in turn are providing further jobs in OUR communities.

It’s pretty difficult to change the world, but small changes in how you shop can change our own little corner of it.

Environmental impact

It’s no secret our world is changing. Since the Second World War the global push for dirt cheap food produced with any means necessary has contributed to our carbon, water and energy cycles to fall out of line.

It seems that right now the whole world is racing to find solutions to this using science and technology alone, the very things that sent us in the wrong direction!

We can’t change the world but we can change our farm. We’re in the middle of a gradual change to produce the optimum, not the maximum amount of food from our farm.

Reducing hacks such as artificial fertilisers, herbicides and producing food on a small scale results in our meat being more expensive than some. But we believe this is simply the true cost of food that enhances our environment as opposed to damaging it.

Loyalty program
